What will ampee cost?
ampee is completely free during our beta. No credit card, no trial clock — once we introduce paid plans, current beta users will get advance notice and early-adopter pricing.
Do I need a Powerwall?
No. That’s the point: ampee allows solar-matched EV charging to solar households that do not necessarily have a home battery.
Which solar systems are supported?
The early access plan includes Tesla Energy Gateway / Powerwall, Enphase, SolarEdge, Sense, Emporia Vue, Fronius Growatt, Solis (and more) as supported solar inputs.
Is changing the charge rate safe for the battery?
ampee works within EV’s supported charging controls. It adjusts current rather than forcing charging outside the car’s normal limits.
